Mother's Day Gift Ideas

There's still time to get a special Mother's Day Gift - and without breaking the bank. Here are a few suggestions we think you might like.

Give Flowers. Sure, you could give Mom a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. And if you do, please consider purchasing Fair Trade or locally grown flowers.

Or, you can give her floral jewelry, which will last much longer than real flowers. We have a nice selection of earrings with a flower or garden theme: Zinnia, Black-eyed Susan, Bleeding Heart, Iris, Monarch Butterfly, Dragonfly, Sunflower and more. Priced between $10.50 and $14.50 , these earrings are a super value.

Inspire Her. Everyone, even Mothers, like to be inspired. A sterling silver bracelet, pin or pair of earrings is something she could wear that can not only serve to inspire, but remind her of you. We have a large selection of inspirational jewelry with quotes like Well behaved women rarely make history , Be the change you wish to see in the world, and You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.

Does She Love Animals? Or is she a Mom to kids of the furry, feathered or scaled kind? We have a huge selection of animal lover gifts that would be appropriate as a Mother's Day gift. Whether she loves birds, cats, dogs, horses, or other animal, we have something special: Bags and totes, jewelry, home decor and many more.

Spring Flowers are Blooming

Spring flowers are blooming here in Madison. In my own backyard, we will soon have daffodils, irises and tulips, followed by a procession of colorful flowers and bushes, blooming at different times all summer long.

Although I think we do a pretty decent job of providing a sanctuary for birds, butterflies and other wildlife, there's always room for improvement. I'm busy checking out websites, perusing books and magazines , and chatting with experts, for additional inspiration.

If you love garden flora as much as I do, please check out our floral jewelry collection. Here is a small sample of what we have for flower and garden lovers:
Happy Spring!

Spring is Here

It's official: Spring, 2011, started yesterday. It may still be brisk outside and we may still very well get snow, but the first signs of Spring are most definitely here. The birds are chirping and the first flowers are emerging from the ground; daffodils, irises, to start with.

Our floral jewelry collection is full of items that celebrate the beauty of nature; designers include Sienna Sky, Far Fetched and Zarah. Your favorite backyard flowers are here; like these bleeding heart earrings, as well as iris earrings, tree of life earrings, zinnia with butterfly earrings, dragonfly earrings, and so many more.

Celebrate spring in style.

New Sienna Sky Designs Added

The first signs of spring have arrived in Madison. Daffodil shoots have appeared in our garden, and birds are singing more.

Just in time for spring, we've added 5 Sienna Sky earrings to our floral and garden collection. One of these is the dragonfly in cattails earrings, pictured here.

We've also added Sienna Sky lavender dragonfly earrings, purple iris earrings, tree of life earrings and 3-leaf earrings.

Spring is Coming!

As I write this, the ground here in Madison is covered with snow and the temperature is in the mid 20s. It doesn't feel like it, but Spring will be here in just a few weeks, March 20th, to be exact. Our flowers will begin emerging from the ground: Daffodils, Lilies and Tulips are some of the first. Then before you know, it butterflies, dragonflies, bees, and the migrant birds will appear.

To help you celebrate Spring, we have an amazing collection of floral and garden jewelry, like our bleeding heart earrings, pictured here. Some other items in our floral and garden jewelry collection include iris earrings, bee earrings, monarch butterfly earrings, black-eyed Susan earrings; and many, many more.

We also have an extensive collection of bird lover jewelry, including robin earrings, hummingbird earrings, bluebird earrings, and bunting earrings, to name just a few.

Many of the items in our Spring collection are designed by Sienna Sky, a company that makes its jewelry right here in the United States.

Celebrating Spring in Style

Winter is starting to loosen some of its grip, at least here in southern Wisconsin. It's getting a tad warmer. The birds sense this as we are starting to hear more of their melodious songs. Pretty soon, the first blooms will begin to sprout, and then in just a few weeks, spring will officially be here. And PJ Publications and Gifts is celebrating.

Last week I told you about our new floral jewelry collection. We have just added more designs, which I believe you will love as much as we do. Some of these include our Dogwood earrings (pictured above) and Field of Flowers earrings. Look for these and other new floral merchandise.

We have also added whimsical Alligator earrings, and Monarch Butterfly earrings, which are pictured below.

These butterflies are 3-dimensional, giving them an almost life-like appearance.

All our spring jewelry is priced just right too, so you won't break your budget. What a wonderful way to celebrate spring.

We are introducing a new line of floral jewelry at PJ Publications and Gifts

Some of the beauties we have include our bleeding heart earrings and iris earrings by Sienna Sky; as well as cactus earrings and sunflower earrings by Zarah.

Keep an eye out for this new category, as many more floral jewelry items will be added within the upcoming weeks. Look for daisies, field flowers, trees, and more! Just in time for spring!
