While perusing the October issue of O Magazine last night, I wanted to scream "Yes" while reading about Oprah's decision to not wear fur. Not only that, but O Magazine has taken a stance to not feature any garments made of fur. In this issue, Adam Glassberg, O's fashion guru, states that this issue even omits items made of leather. Way to go, Oprah!
Speaking of fur free fashion, Born Free USA is celebrating their Fur Free Fashion Show in Los Angeles tomorrow. We hope the show rocks. : )

Fur Free Fashion Competition for Designers
If you are an independent fashion designer dedicated to creating humane fashions, this is for you.
Born Free USA and E / The Environmental Magazine are holding a fur-free fashion design contest called fffashion. Prizes include cash, gift bags from cosmetics company Urban Decay, recognition in E Magazine, and media exposure.
Judges include Sophie Uliano, bestselling author of Gorgeously Green; Summer Rayne Oaks, eco-model and resident expert for Discovery Channel's Planet Green; Brita Belli, editor of E Magazine; and Josh Dorfman, author and host of The Lazy Environmentalist which airs on the Sundance Channel.
The first ten entrants will also receive a special gift from Urban Decay.
